Vardast replies to your Instagram DMs, comments, and story mentions for you — automatically, in seconds. To get started, you only need to connect your Instagram account once. This guide walks you through exactly how to do it.

Before you begin
- You'll need a Business or Creator account. Personal accounts can't connect. If your account is personal, switch it for free inside the Instagram app:
Settings → Account type and tools → Switch to professional account. - Do the connection in a web browser — not inside the Instagram app. The Instagram mobile app intercepts the login flow and breaks the connection before it finishes. On mobile, always open the link in a browser (such as Chrome). The connection simply won't complete if it opens inside the app.
Tip: Connecting on a desktop computer is easier than on mobile, because on a phone the link can open in the Instagram app instead of a browser and interrupt the process. If you can, do the connection on desktop.
Steps to connect
1) In your Vardast panel, click "Connect".
Go to the Instagram channel page in Vardast. You'll see the subtitle "Reply to every DM, comment, and story mention — automatically, in seconds." Click the black Connect button to begin.
2) (Mobile) Choose a browser.
If a "Complete action using / Open with…" menu appears, pick a browser (for example, Chrome) and tap "Just once" — do not choose Instagram.
If the Instagram app opens instead of a browser and you see a "profile doesn't exist" page, see the "App opens instead of the browser" fix.
3) In the browser, tap "Log in" (don't open the app).
The browser now takes you to Instagram. You may see one of these screens — on all of them, tap "Log in" and avoid "Open app / Open Instagram":

- If a "Get the full experience / Open Instagram app" pop-up appears, dismiss it by tapping the ✕:
4) Log in to Instagram.
Enter your Instagram username and password, then tap "Log in".
5) Allow the permissions.
A permissions screen opens showing what vardast-IG is requesting access to (your profile, comments, and messages). Tap "Allow". All of these permissions are required for Vardast to work — if they aren't fully granted, Vardast can't read your messages and comments or reply to them.
6) Done!
You're returned to Vardast and you'll see a confirmation that your account has been connected successfully. Click continue, and your Instagram channel is live — Vardast will start handling your DMs, comments, and story mentions automatically.
